A great example of me taking action is persuing this Masters program. Often people talk about getting a Masters and how great it would be and what it would do for their career, but it isn't often when you actually meet someone who actually does and finishes. I have only known a few to do it.
I surprised my mom last Mother's Day with my acceptance letter that I would be starting this. I wanted to surprise her and it was a big surprise indeed! Little did she know that I had been researching schools for 4 months.
I was so excited to tell everyone and I did. Now, I only have three classes left. Just last week, I saw a friend at the gym and I told him how far I was in the program, he couldn't believe it. He said to me, "gosh Bonnie, I remember when you told me you were just starting it. I can't believe you actually stuck with it and did it." "You know, he said, so many people I know say they are going to do things and they never do them. It is so nice to know that you set a goal and took action on achieving it." "Taking action is the key to accomplishing your dreams!"

I think we can all probably relate to this piece! It is very hard to pursue another degree while working full time. I don't know if you also have a family, but life in general makes it tough to add more work. I can sense how rightfully proud you are of accomplishing your goal. Good for you and all of us!
Bonnie,
I really like how you are focusing on accomplishing your dreams and are relating it to your own life. It makes it easier to relate to and gives us a more personal view in to your life. I think you should choose more than one example of accomplishing your dreams and connect them all together to support your main idea. This is a great topic because it is something that everyone is always striving to do.
Bonnie-
I'm glad you added in your own personal story/touch to the reflection. Will this revision go at the end of your original or will this be in place of it? I think you made two really great points with your ending to the original piece, "Take action, what do you have to lose?" and your revision, "Taking action is the key to accomplishing your dream" that maybe you could use these two lines to connect the two pieces and make them flow together. If you are just going to use just your revision then maybe you can find a way to add in the ending from your original piece since it is a very strong statement. I think this is a very inspirational piece and it makes me think about my actions and dreams and what I have been afraid to try, well done!
